Be Careful Who You Hire

These problems may be attributable to inexperienced or uncaring contractors, or to shortcuts taken after offering too much work for too little money.

These examples are shared to demonstrate that not all companies are created equal.

You should not assume that a contractor will do a good job simply because the contractor is licensed.

It is important to contact several references for any contractor you are considering hiring. Better still, visit a few projects the company has installed.

If the company’s customers are happy with the work, they will be more than happy to vouch for the contractor and speak with you about their experience.
